Member, Institute of Transportation Engineers. Board of Directors, Hamptons at Brightwood Community Association, 2009. Member, Hagerstown Rotary Club. Eagle Scout. Swim team coach, 1989-99; soccer coach. Charles Carroll Award (Republican Man of the Year), Maryland Republican Party, 2012. Legislator of the Year, Maryland Society of Professional Engineers, 2018. Married; three children.
